Despite all the headlines about violent school pupils who attack their teachers, it seems that parents are more likely than their offspring to lash out when they get angry. According to the National Association of Head Teachers,

16 of its members have been physically attacked by a parent during the past year, compared with nine who have been attacked by a pupil.
