Football: Sidelines: THIS WEEK
THE EX-FILES
On 14 February 1995, English football witnessed the arrival of a Dutch footballer who many believed would be a great influence on the Premiership.
The Arsenal manager, George Graham, revealed that he had completed the signing of a man who he believed would be `the perfect winger' - Glenn Helder.
On the same day three years ago, another Premiership club, Coventry, sacked their manager, Phil Neal. Ron Atkinson was immediately touted as his replacement.
Unfortunately for Arsenal and Helder, time proved that the signing was not so inspired. Unfortunately for Coventry, Atkinson fared little better.
