The number of rand [pounds 121] that Paddy Upton, fitness trainer to the South African cricket team, was fined yesterday by his national governing body after being found guilty of misconduct but innocent of making racist comments to the crowd during the second Test against Pakistan in Durban. Upton was held to have threatened the complainant with injury.
