A US university has revealed that hundreds of degrees given out over the past 10 years should never have been awarded, and may be revoked.
An official audit found that only 10 of the 410 foreign students who have graduated since 2003 from Dickinson State, North Dakota, completed even the basic requirements of their course. Many did business studies.
No staff disciplinary procedures are currently planned.
