Farm accident

A one-armed farm worker drove a mile in his tractor to get help after a leg was left hanging by a thread in an accident in Burleydam, Cheshire. Geoff Williams, 53, was recovering after surgeons amputated his right leg below the knee. He lost his left arm in an accident 25 years ago.
