Hunting set for review
The sport of hunting with hounds is to have its first major independent review in 45 years. Sir David Steel, executive chairman of the Countryside Movement, said the review would take into account the changes in management of the countryside and the perceptions of British society.
The last major inquiry was carried out in 1951 by the Committee on Cruelty to Wild Animals.
