NHS waiting cut
Patients seeking hospital treatment are now waiting half the time they did five years ago, according to government figures. Average waiting times had been reduced from eight months to four over the last five years, and only a small minority of patients had to wait longer than the 18-months guaranteed by the Patient's Charter.
