The following appointments have been announced by the Church of England:

The Rev Penelope Avann, Warden of Pastoral Assistants and Parish Deacon, St John, Beckenham: to be also an Honorary Canon of Rochester Cathedral (Rochester).

The Rev Angela Bailey, permission to officiate, diocese of York: to be Anglican Chaplain to Hull University, same diocese.

The Rev Paul Bayes, Team Rector, Wycombe Team Ministry (Oxford): to be Team Rector, Totton (Winchester).

The Rev Eric Bennett, Curate, Berkswich Holy Trinity: to be Resident Minister, Bilbrook Holy Cross (Lichfield).

The Rev Ian Cardinal, Team Rector, Ancaster and Wilsford group (Lincoln): to be Priest-in-charge, Wigginton (Lichfield).

The Rev Melia Cope, NSM, West Bromwich All Saints: to be Team Member with special responsibility for Town Centre, Central Telford Team Ministry (Lichfield).

The Rev Martin Green, Vicar, St Aidan's, Southcoates, Kingston-upon-Hull (York): to be Children's Officer for diocese of Coventry and Priest-in-charge, Bishop's Itchington (Coventry).

The Rev Alan Litton, Vicar, St Clement, Spotland (Manchester): to be Rector, Newchurch (Liverpool).

The Rev Arthur Olsen, Priest-in-charge, Botleys and Lyne: to be Vicar, Botleys and Lyne and Longcross (Guildford).

The Rev Andrew Piggott, Team Vicar, Kidderminster, St George with SS Cecilia and Chad, Worcester: to be the Incumbent, Buddulph (Lichfield).

The Rev Jim Pye, Curate, Normanton by Derby (Derby): to be the Incumbent, Talke (Lichfield).

The Rev Brian Regan, Curate, St John the Baptist (Fleet Street), Coventry: to be Vicar, St Oswald's, Tile Hill, Coventry (Coventry).

Canon Timothy Sedgley, Vicar, Walton on Thames: to be also Chapter Dean of Chapter 13 (Guildford).
