Wednesday 16 September 2009
Barack Obama may be smart, but what kind of smart is he? Howard Gardner, the noted Harvard psychologist and pioneer of the theory of multiple intelligences, explores the character of Obama’s intelligence and considers whether it is right for his time. In this Big Think interview, Gardner expresses several concerns about contemporary Western society: he is worried that the world, and the U.S. in particular, is losing site of the true concept of Good Work, and that we’re taking the wrong approach towards properly educating our children.
