Of course it took a precocious pre-teen to find the perfect analogy for the thrill of life — and its inevitable end.

“Life’s a waterslide,” 11-year-old Antek Sack wrote to his comedian father Brian in a DIY birthday card, “where you die at the end”.

And right beside that beyond-his-years profundity is an equally excellent illustration in which a naked man travels down the waterslide of life, going from happy to sad, growing beard to growing a stache, until he his hurled into a pit of spikes or fire — it’s a little hard to tell.

In yet another twist, Antek even placed his silver-haired father right near the end, with those mystery spikes on the horizon.

Brian proudly tweeted his son’s masterpiece alongside the hashtag #blessed. It’s received more than 42,000 retweets and nearly 60,000 favourites.

Talking to Metro, Brian said: “It was the usual dark humor I’ve come to expect, which usually centers around me dying. You get used to it.”

Apparently Antel and his 8-year-old brother have been keeping an eye on the super-successful tweet, with the younger Sack reportedly jealous of the all the attention Antel's absurd card has received.

Brian added: “I’m a little jealous that none of my other tweets will ever achieve that kind of notoriety.”
