29 July: His Excellency Mr Angelos Angelides and Mrs Angelides were received in farewell audience by The Queen and took leave upon His Excellency relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus in London.

The Earl of Mansfield and Mansfield (First Crown Estate Commissioner) was received by Her Majesty.

The Archbishop of Canterbury was received in audience by The Queen.

His Excellency Mr Tongcham Jotikasthira and Mrs Jotikasthira were received in farewell audience by Her Majesty and took leave upon His Excellency relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from the Kingdom of Thailand to the Court of St James's.

Captain Peter Hopkins was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Temporary Equerry to Her Majesty.

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon opened the Cowes Yacht Haven Events Centre, Cowes, and was received by Her Majesty's Governor and Lord-Lieutenant for the Isle of Wight (the Lord Mottistone).

By command of The Queen, the Lord Camoys (Lord-in-Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this evening upon the Arrival of The King and Queen of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and welcomed Their Majesties on behalf of Her Majesty.

29 July: The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, this morning attended the National Schools Sailing Association's National Regatta at Redcar Beach, followed by a Luncheon at Redcar Racecourse, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for Cleveland (the Lord Gisborough).

29 July: The Prince of Wales, Colonel- in-Chief, The Army Air Corps, received Lieutenant-Colonel Julian Bourne upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer, 2 Training Regiment, and Lieutenant- Colonel Christopher Wilton upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince of Wales Business Leaders Forum, received members of the International Hotel Environment Initiative.

29 July: The Duke of Kent, President, the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies, today received Group Captain David Bolton, the Director, on relinquishing the appointment.

The Duke of Kent this evening attended a Music in Country Churches concert, St Peter and St Paul's Church, Clare, Suffolk, and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Suffolk (The Right Honourable the Lord Belstead).
