Jennifer Lawrence's biggest fear concerns the end of the human race

Recent outbreaks have left the actress feeling increasingly concerned

Jennifer Lawrence’s biggest fear isn’t her Oscar-winning acting career ending abruptly, losing a loved one or becoming embroiled in a scandal.

Her fear is much more all-encompassing - and bizarre - than that and instead concerns what could lead to the demise of the human race.

She told Vanity Fair: ”My biggest irrational - hopefully - fear is that the Zika virus is going to be the solution to overpopulation.”

Lawrence only endears herself to her fans more when she uses an interview with a high-end fashion magazine to inform them she is swapping drinking alcohol with every meal to just drinking once a day in order to shape up to play a ballet dancer, or that her vocation would be either be stripping or “laying in a ditch”, if she wasn't acting.

Arguably the most forthcoming actress in the business, there are few areas of her life that are off-grounds, which includes the reasoning behind this irrational fear.

Elaborating on it, she explained: “I don't know if you've ever read the Kurt Vonnegut short story where everyone has to take these pills that make your private parts feel like wet sponges and then nobody can have sex and no one can procreate. And so by the time I'm older, and I'm like, 'I think I want to be a mother,' they're like, 'You can't. Your private part feels like a sponge.’”

Right.
