Keira Knightley forced to wear wigs in films after dye made her hair fall out
Actress has been wearing the wigs for the past five years

Keira Knightley has revealed one of the less glamorous consequences of being an award-winning actress.
Most women and men have experimented with their hair at some stage, whether it through dyeing, straightening or blow drying, and then inevitably paid the price at a later date.
Knightley has revealed this too is the case for actors who are bound by the appearance descriptions their roles require.
Knightley has been wearing wigs for films over the past five years after dying it so much for various roles led to it falling out.
“I have dyed my hair virtually every colour imaginable for different films. It got so bad that my hair literally began to fall out of my head!” she told InStyle. “So for the past five years I’ve used wigs, which is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to my hair.”
The 31-year-old began her career in the British footballing film Bend It Like Beckham before being thrust into the public eye for her role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. She will reportedly return to the big screen for a Disney live action remake of The Nutcracker and will play the sugar plum fairy.
