LETTER:Estuary English: it's what you say, not the way that you say it, that really matters

SURELY it is clear why the Tories want to stamp out Estuary English ("Estuary English is all right, innit?", 18 June)? It is the language spoken by the working classes and those with negative equity. If it can be wiped out then both these groups of anti-Tory voters will simply disappear.
