Ramblers have claimed a victory against the Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson after he lost an appeal to restrict public access to a path near his lighthouse home on the Isle of Man.
A court ruled against claims by Mr Clarkson and his wife, Frances, that having a public path so close to their property breached their human rights.
In his ruling, David Doyle QC, the First Deemster or senior judge on the Isle of Man, said the "rights and freedoms" of the general public to walk must be appreciated.
