Cheryl Cole is said to want to remove one of her many tattoos after marrying Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

But those hoping she might be getting rid of that huge rose bottom tattoo will be disappointed, as the singer is considering getting the last inked remnant of Ashely Cole eradicated from her body.

The singer and returning X Factor judge is said to want to get rid of the “Mrs C” tattoo she has on the back of her neck after changing her name to Cherl Fernandez-Versini following her marriage to the French restaurateur earlier this month.

Cheryl Cole originally chose to keep the tattoo when she split from Ashley Cole in 2010.

But, according to reports, the singer has decided to get rid of the tattoo that bears the last physical reminder of her former identity – only she can’t decide if she wants to eradicate the inking completely or cover it over with another tattoo.

A source told The Sun: “She’s torn over whether to get the tattoo lasered off. She once vowed not to get another inking but something like a phoenix that would be symbolic of rising from the ashes would be very poignant.”

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard Versini married in secret two weeks ago after dating for three months.

“I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news…Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy to and excited to move forward with our lives together,” she posted on Instagram.
