Liam Gallagher has been spotted jogging in reverse in a bid to keep fit.

The Beady Eye frontman refuses to look back with regards to Oasis, but had no such problem on the streets of Hampstead this week, (that was tenuous, I'm sorry) where according to The Sun he was spotted getting involved in the bizarre health craze, known as 'retro running'.

"I thought it was a bit rich for a millionaire who sings to fans about 'Cigarettes & Alcohol' to be taking his fitness that seriously," an onlooker told the tabloid. "Mind you, he did manage to retain the frontman sneer, even running backwards."

Personal trailer Jason Doggett insisted the technique holds health benefits however, explaining: "It is common practice among athletes. It's useful for sports that require multi-directional movement, not least for football."

Earlier this month, Gallagher urged Oasis fans to not by the re-mastered anniversary re-issue of the band's debut album, Definitely Maybe.

"HOW CAN YOU REMASTER SOMETHING THATS ALREADY BEING MASTERED.DONT BUY INTO IT.LET IT BE LG X" he shouted on Twitter.
