Thatcher stays in hospital after fall
Baroness Thatcher is to remain in hospital for several days as a "precautionary measure" after breaking her arm in a fall.
The 83-year-old former prime minister had been expected to leave Chelsea and Westminster Hospital today, but doctors have decided to keep her in to ensure the break is healing properly.
Her spokesman, Mark Worthington said: "She's very comfortable but the doctors have decided to keep her in; it is an entirely precautionary measure." He added that Lady Thatcher was well enough to sit up in a chair and chat, but doctors would assess her recovery over the coming days.
