Traditional Jewish farewell to Amy Winehouse
Mark Ronson, the producer who collaborated on Amy Winehouse's Back To Black album, joined the mourners at the singer's traditional Jewish funeral.
Family and friends paid their respects to Winehouse, who died on Saturday, at the Edgwarebury cemetery in north London.
Her father, Mitch, mother, Janis, and brother, Alex, were joined by Winehouse's boyfriend, Reg Traviss. Kelly Osbourne and the stylist Alex Foden, credited with creating Winehouse's beehive hairdo, also attended.
The service, which included prayers in English and Hebrew, concluded with a rendition of the Carole King song "So Far Away".
Her father's eulogy ended with the words: "Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much."
After the service, Winehouse's body was taken to Golders Green crematorium.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned until 26 October, but no cause of death has been given. The results of toxicology tests are expected in two to four weeks.
