Obituary: Capt John Litchfield

Capt John Litchfield, soldier and politician, died 31 May, aged 89. Served in the Royal Navy 1917-55. After retiring, he was a member of Kent County Council 1955-59, before being elected Conservative MP for Chelsea 1959-66.
