Obituary: Max Knight
Max Knight, writer and translator, died Berkeley, California, 31 August, aged 84. Translated the works of Bertolt Brecht, Karl Kraus, and Gottfried Benn and the correspondence between Stefan Zweig and Richard Strauss into English, and Ogden Nash into German. Principal Editor at the University of California Press 1950-76.
