The Princess Royal, President, British Knitting and Clothing Export Council, visits the Scottish Apparel Group, Portland Place, London W1; as Patron, the Home Farm Trust, attends a meeting at Mitsubishi Electric plc, Kierran Cross, London WC2; as President, Royal Yachting Association, attends a Council Meeting at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, London SW1; and presents the Whitley Award Scheme for International Conservation awards at the Royal Geographical Society, London SW7. Princess Margaret, President, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, attends the London premiere of The Prospect Before Us and The Protecting Veil at the new Sadler's Wells Theatre, London EC1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
