The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh attend a performance of the Royal Tournament, Earls Court, London SW5. The Duke of Edinburgh visits Loughborough University of Technology, Loughborough, Leicestershire; visits St Matthew's Community Health and Social Care Centre, Leicester; opens Prince Philip House; opens the Leicester YMCA Aylestone Residential Centre; and opens the Southern Fire Station of Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Leicester.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Irish Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
