Caleb Logan Bratayley, the eldest child in the popular YouTuber family the Bratayleys, has died aged 13.
The Bratayley family - who are thought to not use their actual surname, and do not disclose where they live - have built a huge family vlogging empire since they started posting videos in 2010 of Caleb and his two sisters, Annie and Hayley.
A statement posted to the family’s Instagram page said: “Caleb Logan Bratayley passed away of natural causes. This has come as a shock to all of us.
“Words cannot describe how much we will miss him. His incredibly funny, loving and wonderful spirit made us all fall in love with him as a YouTuber, friend, brother and son.
“[We] ask that you bear with us while we deal with this tragedy as a family. Please help us honour our baked potato.”
The Bratayley family have amassed over 1 billion views on Youtube alone, according to data from Tubular Labs, and both Caleb and his sister Annie have spawned spin-off channels due to their popularity with fans online.
The Bratayleys are part of Maker Studios, a Walt Disney-owned digital-media company that represents the family. In a statement, the studio mourned the loss of the teenager.

The family have posted two new videos since Caleb's death: a memorial video and a video taken before his death, showing the family enjoying breakfast together.
It came with an annotation confirming the news on their Instagram page, saying: “We ask for continued love and support as we move through the grieving process.”
