Two of the 14 asylum-seekers being held in Rochester Prison are seriously ill. One is suffering 50 per cent paralysis and the other has kidney failure, according to Brian Debus of the Rochester Hunger Strikers Support Group. The two men are believed to have been transferred to the prison's hospital wing along with a third man.
