THE FIRST tropical storm in this year's eastern Pacific hurricane season hit the coast of Mexico at the weekend, forcing closure of Acapulco's port.
Now the tropical Storm Adrian is about 200 miles south-west of Acapulco, with sustained winds of 50mph. Thirty miles from the Guatemalan border, heavy rains caused flooding that damaged two highway bridges and a railway bridge.
