Samurai wounding
A man was recovering in hospital last night after undergoing a seven-hour operation to re-attach his severed hand after a Samurai sword attack.
Leslie Harding, 37, from Chapeltown, Leeds, was struck as he remonstrated with a group of skinheads outside a pub in Halton, another area of the city last night. A member of the pub staff picked up the hand and gave it to ambulance crew.
