Scottish 'terrorist' changes plea
One of two men accused of plotting a hoax bomb to drive the English out of Scotland changed his plea to guilty at the High Court in Stirling yesterday.
Kevin Paton, 27, a van driver from Inverurie, Grampian, admitted conspiring to further the cause of a group known as FLAME in April 1994. He also admitted mailing hoax letter bombs and mailing letters which issued a 30-day "leave Scotland or die" warning. He was released on bail until today.
The trial of his co-accused, Terry Webber, of Aberdeen, continues today.
