Society: Diana song No 1 for funerals

It was inevitable - just as Diana's name rose in popularity after her death so the song "Candle in the Wind" sung by Elton John at her funeral has become the number one tune at funerals.

A survey by Co-operative (CRS) Funeral Service has revealed that while traditional hymns such as "Abide with Me" are still popular, modern tunes are often the preferred choice for mourners.
