Trail blazing during the Monte Carlo Challenge

Geoff McAuley and Frank Wooley in their Jowett Javelin following a smoky trail past Woodhead Reservoir in the Peak District National Park yesterday during the 2,000-mile fourth Monte Carlo Challenge for classic cars. They were among 66 of the 151 competitors chosing to start the first leg to Beaune, in central France, from York.
