The new series of Doctor Who is clearly inspiring some very creative developers, as a Tardis-style house measuring in at just 83 inches wide becomes the latest property to shine a light on the desperate state of Britain’s housing market.

Appearing to have been built over a driveway between two average-sized houses, it is situated in Harringay, north London and is described as a ‘terrace house’ on the property website Rightmove with a guide price of £235,000.

It features two bedrooms on the first floor, and a reception room, kitchen and bathroom/WC on the ground floor.

There is also a roof terrace and a gas-fired central heating system: the latter of which has not been tested. It goes up for auction on 1 October 2014.

Other recent property bargains include the one bedroom flat in Kensington branded ‘uninhabitable’ by an estate agent, which went on sale last week for £600,000, and the cupboard in London’s Brentford Dock priced at £7,500.
