TRAIN SERVICES began to return to normal yesterday after a main-line railway station targeted by IRA bombers was reopened.

British Rail said 90 per cent of services were running during last night's London rush hour on the main Waterloo-Southampton line through Brookwood station, near Woking, Surrey.

On Thursday, tens of thousands of travellers suffered disrupted journeys as police continued to search the area after two packages on the track were blown up by bomb disposal teams.
