The bodies of two men have been discovered in the rear garden of a house in Hull.

Humberside Police were called to a property on May Street in the city at around 6pm on Friday evening.

Detectives say they are treating the deaths of the two unidentified men as "suspicious but unexplained".

Police are appealing for the local communities to help and have said they would like to speak to anyone who may have information about the incident.

They would also like to identify who was living in the house or anyone who may have visited it recently.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

A statement on the Humberside Police website said: "Anyone who can assist police with their enquiries are urged to call 101 quoting log 482 of 22/04/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111".
