CCTV captures moment man in England shirt attacks customers in Clapham McDonald's

CCTV has been released showing the moment a man dressed in an England football shirt launched a violent attack on a McDonald’s customer in Clapham, London.

The footage shows staff frantically trying to stop the attack which led to two men and a woman suffering minor cuts to their faces.

The Metropolitan Police say “two suspects walked into the restaurants and told a witness to take their hat off. The male suspect then became abusive to staff and to other customers waiting to be served.”

The male suspect is described as “a medium built white man in his mid-20s with a beard and tattoos on both arms wearing a white short sleeve England football shirt”.

The female suspect is described as "a medium built white woman in her 20s with long dark brown hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a green jacket with a white shirt underneath".
