Two houses were targeted by a crowd of about 20 youths in a petrol bomb attack in Londonderry, police said today.

The group entered Conway Park in Currynierin at about 10.45pm last night and threw four devices at the homes before making off towards the nearby Tullyalley area.

Not all of the petrol bombs ignited and there were no reports of damage or injuries in the attack.

At around the same time at least two petrol bombs were thrown at premises in the Glendermott Business Park in the Altnagelvin area of the city.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
