Jack Tweed remanded on rape charge
Jade Goody's widower Jack Tweed appeared in court today charged with rape.
The 22-year-old, who spoke only to confirm his name, wore a grey jumper and jogging bottoms at the preliminary hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
The alleged offence took place at Tweed's home in Woodford Green, east London, in the early hours of Friday 4 September.
Tweed was remanded in custody and must return to court for a plea and case management hearing on 16 November.
He is expected to deny the charge.
