London stabbing: Murder investigation launched after man stabbed to death in Kingston upon Thames

Victim given CPR by police and paramedics before being pronounced dead at the scene at 3.02am

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death in south-west London early in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers were called to Cambridge Gardens, Kingston upon Thames, by the London Ambulance Service at around 2am.

A Metropolitan Police statement said officers found a man at the scene suffering from stab wounds.

The victim was given CPR by police and paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene at 3.02am.

Police said they had made no arrests so far and that “a large crime scene” remained in place.

The victim has not been identified by police and a post-mortem examination is yet to take place.
