Six men remanded in custody over child exploitation

Six men were remanded in custody yesterday after they appeared in court as part of an investigation into child exploitation in Oxford.

Brothers Anjum Dogar, 30, and Akhtar Dogar, 31, Kamar Jamil, 26, Zeshan Ahmed, 26, and brothers Mohammed Karrar, 37, and Bassan Karrar, 32, appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court, accused of a string of offences, including rape, conspiring to rape a child, arranging child prostitution and trafficking.

They will all appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 30 March. Seven other men who were arrested have been released on police bail.
