Three men on gun charges

Three men have appeared in court in Newry in connection with the discovery of weapons in south Armagh.

They were charged with having firearms, preparing for acts of terrorism and having articles likely to be of use to terrorists. All three said the weapons were to be buried and not used.

They were remanded in custody until May.
