Three men were stabbed on Monday night at a pub in south-east London by a gang of masked men who came into the building and attacked them, the police have said.

The victims, aged between 18 and 24, were hospitalised following the stabbing, which took place just after 10pm on Monday in Abbey Wood, London.

Although the three men remain in hospital, they are not thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

The gang of approximately ten men who attacked them drove away in three vehicles, one of which is believed to have been a silver Mitsubishi Shogun, according to the Met Police.

Detectives have started an investigation into the incident and no arrests have yet been made.

After describing the attack as "shocking", Detective Sergeant Robert Harris reassured the community that the stabbing is most likely an "isolated incident".

He also appealed to the public for information, saying: "A thorough investigation is well under way and I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or captured anything on a mobile phone or a dashcam to please get in touch.

"I am really keen to hear from anyone who was in the pub at the time of this attack or may have witnessed the events that followed.

"You can also speak to Crimestoppers if you want to remain anonymous - the most important thing is that we get your information."
