Police investigate scene after 14-year-old stabbed to death in north-east London street

Detectives in London are hunting for three men believed to have stabbed and killed a 14-year-old boy in Waltham Forest.

Police officers were called to Bickley Road to reports of a traffic accident but found the injured schoolboy at the scene.

Paramedics were unable to save the teenager, who was declared dead at 7.09pm on Tuesday.

Investigators confirmed that the boy had been riding a moped which collided with a car.

Three men then climbed out of the vehicle and stabbed the victim, before driving away.

The schoolboy’s family has been told of his death.

A police crime scene has been set up at the site of the incident in north-east London.
