Deaths blamed on computer
The London Ambulance Service will today issue a 'full statement' about a 36-hour computer breakdown which, a union official claimed, led to delays in up to 20 cases in which people died. The service confirmed it had reverted to part-manual control at its Waterloo command centre on Monday.
