Early warning ballot

AROUND 80 civilian staff at RAF Fylingdale's early warning station near Whitby, North Yorkshire, voted on whether to take strike action for the first time in the base's 30-year history. A contractor has offered a 3 per cent pay supplement instead of an annual rise.
