European court to hear gay case
The Commission of the Council of Europe, the screening forum for applications to the European Court of Human Rights, will hear a case made by the gay rights group Stonewall on behalf of three homosexual men.
The men claim that the current age of consent, 21, discriminates against homosexuals and contravenes the European Convention on Human Rights.
