Far East of Suffolk
The British mainland's most easterly location - Ness Point at Lowestoft, Suffolk - which Waveney Council is hoping will become as big a tourist attraction as John o' Groats or Land's End. The council is looking for a company to develop the site, a competition to create a monument has been launched and a viewing platform is being built.
