Two children died in a house fire which police believe was started when a can of hairspray left on a mantlepiece above a fire exploded. Sasha Finney, six, and her brother Adrian, three, were overcome by smoke at the house in Devizes, Wiltshire. A 14-year-old babysitter tried to save the children from the upstairs bedroom but was beaten back by smoke.
