German bomber found in field
The remains of a German air crew and their Luftwaffe bomber, shot down on 13 August, 1942, were found 20ft under a sugar beet field in Burnham-on- Crouch, Essex. The RAF is trying to trace relatives of the crew to arrange transfer of the remains and personal effects.
