THE DEATH of 10-year-old girl has transformed the lives of six people, it was revealed yesterday. Paula Moss asked for her organs to be used to help others if she died. Her mother, Jane, acted on her wishes after she was pronounced clinically dead but kept alive on a life-support machine.

An eight-month-old baby girl received Paula's liver, a 57-year- old man her heart, and a 16-year- old boy and a 17-year-old girl received her kidneys. Her corneas gave sight to two people. Mrs Moss, of Bradford, West Yorkshire, said yesterday that Paula was taken ill the day after her 10th birthday in April. Doctors first thought she had meningitis but later discovered a brain tumour. She died within a week.
