Amy Winehouse death report went astray
Police have admitted that documents relating to the death of Amy Winehouse appear to have been delivered to the wrong address by accident.
It is understood that a report detailing the circumstances of her death, which was intended for her family, was received by a stranger. It was handed in at a north London police station on Friday night.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "Police were informed that material relating to a forthcoming inquest may have been delivered to an incorrect address. Inquiries are now underway to establish the full circumstances of this matter."
An inquest into the death of the singer, 27, left, is to reopen tomorrow after a post-mortem examination was inconclusive.
