City broker loses discrimination case
A City broker who said her boss likened his job to running a brothel has lost her claim for discrimination.
Rosemarie Corscadden alleged she was bullied by Jerry Lees after rejecting his advances for sex.
Ms Corscadden, 52, from Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, also claimed she was overlooked for promotion and bonuses after refusing to sleep with him.
The pair worked together at Cheuvreux, a European equity broker within the Credit Agricole Group, where Mr Lees was head of a London-based sales team.
She told the London Central Employment Tribunal that Mr Lees began a campaign of harassment within six months of her joining as a sales executive on an £80,000 salary.
In its judgment, the tribunal dismissed Ms Corscadden's claims for sex discrimination, age discrimination and harassment.
